Our Gi Fundamentals class with Coach Jack is built around a highly detail-oriented approach to Jiu Jitsu.
Jack’s game is a great example of how precision, timing, and technique can outperform size and strength. Not being the biggest athlete himself, he focuses on the small details that make techniques truly effective—grip placement, angle, weight distribution, and sequencing.
In class, this translates to clear, methodical instruction where nothing is rushed. Students learn how to execute movements cleanly and efficiently, building habits that hold up against larger or stronger opponents.
Whether you’re just starting out or refining your basics, this class develops a technical foundation rooted in precision and effectiveness.

Our No-Gi schedule on Tuesday and Thursday is structured to better serve our growing group of higher-ranked students. We begin with an hour of dedicated live rounds, giving advanced practitioners the time and space to train at a higher pace and volume.
This is followed by a No-Gi Fundamentals class, designed to support newer students and reinforce core skills, making the overall structure beneficial for all levels.

Our No-Gi Fundamentals class with Brett is led by a high-level, actively competing athlete who brings current, real-world experience into every session.
Brett has taken the fundamentals to a different level—focusing on precision, efficiency, and details that actually hold up in live training and competition. His teaching strips things down to what truly matters, helping students build strong habits without unnecessary complexity.
Classes emphasize core positions, clean mechanics, and practical application, with a focus on movements and concepts that translate directly into success during live rounds.
Whether you’re brand new or more experienced, this class is designed to build a rock-solid foundation that works at every level.

Gi Open Sparring is dedicated to live training time where students can apply techniques in real-time rounds with a variety of training partners. Students are also welcome to drill techniques, troubleshoot positions, and explore specific areas of their game. The room is open, collaborative, and a great opportunity to train with different people while developing timing, pacing, problem-solving, and overall mat awareness through live Gi training.

Our No-Gi All Levels class with Alex is designed to be both beginner-friendly and engaging for more experienced students.
Rather than focusing on memorizing a long list of techniques, Alex teaches through core concepts and movement patterns that show up across all areas of Jiu-Jitsu. The goal is to help students understand why things work, not just what to do.
A big part of the class is built around positional games and guided scenarios. These allow students to explore situations in a controlled way, develop timing, and build the kind of instinctive movement habits that translate well into live training.
For beginners, this approach makes it much easier to get started—you’re not expected to “know” anything coming in. You’ll be given clear objectives and supported through each step. For more experienced students, the same structure creates opportunities to refine details and sharpen decision-making.
Overall, it’s a thoughtful, low-pressure environment where students can build confidence, improve movement, and develop a deeper understanding of the art.

This is our free No-Gi open training, open to practitioners from all academies. There is no charge to attend — this is our way of bringing the jiu jitsu community together in a positive, respectful training environment.
To participate, please sign the digital waiver prior to stepping on the mats.
This session is intended for those who already have an understanding of grappling and can train safely with others. If you are brand new to grappling or jiu jitsu, this is not the day we recommend trying things out for the first time. We’d be happy to guide beginners toward an appropriate fundamentals class instead.
We look forward to seeing you on the mats and sharing some good rounds.
