Jack Coyston

Jack Coyston is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Carlson Gracie Coral Belt Clovis Silva. Originally from England, he moved to California in 2001, where he discovered wrestling and quickly developed a passion for grappling. Competing through high school and coaching middle school teams, Jack knew early on that teaching and grappling would be lifelong pursuits.

After high school, he trained in Judo, where he was introduced to submissions and the gi. In 2012, he found Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu—a perfect blend of everything he loved. Jack dedicated himself entirely to the art, earning his black belt on January 26, 2022.

Known for his armbars, attention to detail, and endless enthusiasm for Jiu-Jitsu, Jack is committed to improving as a practitioner and instructor. His goals include earning a Judo black belt and continuing to share his knowledge to help students grow as athletes and martial artists. Jack teaches Fundamentals and Advanced jiu-jitsu classes every Monday and Wednesday.
