Brett Bryon

A native of Sonoma County, Brett has a grappling background that started with wrestling a couple years in High School.  In 2011, He started seriously studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at EsteemBJJ in Petaluma where he spent 14 years training, competing, and coaching.  In late 2019, Brett earned his black belt from Megaton Dias the hard way.  Often competing multiple times a month including IBJJF world tournaments, F2W Pro matches, MMA, and GI/Nogi/Open weight class divisions.

As much as Brett loves testing himself in competition, his true passion is teaching jiu jitsu.  The opportunity to teach in a full time capacity has always been a dream of his.  Always looking to grow, Brett is a lifelong learner on his own martial arts journey and is eager to share his experience and expertise with you.
